WLI Falls
A measure of future U.S. economic growth weakened in the latest week, and the index's annualized growth rate also slowed, a research group said on Friday.
The Economic Cycle Research Institute, a New York-based independent forecasting group, said its Weekly Leading Index dropped to 121.2 in the week ended Sept. 30 from a revised 121.8 the previous week. The previous week's number was originally reported at 121.9.
The index's annualized growth rate weakened to -8.1 percent from -7.2 percent a week earlier.
